Its location Nice staff Comfortable bed Clean kitchen
It smelt awful in the corridors Very uninspiring decor in the rooms with almost no attention to making the place look nice. Very dirty plugholes etc in the bathroom
Location excellent. Room quiet, clean and spacious. Plenty clothes space. On par with 3* London hotels with the added bonus of a Kitchenett for self catering. Not luxury but superior student accomodation , adequate and functional. Outstanding value for money at a fraction of the cost of 3* hotels on the Strand without the daily housekeeping. .
Minor things really, no tv or wifi in rooms (but available on site). Room Safe only Available to students not guests - why? Only one fob key. Like a lot of hotels no easy chairs in rooms.
Loved the location, close to the theatres and restaurants. Liked being able to prepare my own meals with the kitchenette.
Alas, the LSE Grosvenor is only available for 6 weeks over the summer holidays until end of September - and then reverts back to student accommodation.
Wrong choice for me
Hostel not hotel and over priced
Great location. Fairly basic room, but clean and affordable. Very gay friendly.
Everything was as I expected it to be.
Location, Location,Location we were in the heart of the theatre district and loved it
Clean, modern, bright room. Great location in the centre of Covent Garden, sunlit room facing away from the street made this a very peaceful stay as well.
The bed was a little firm.
Location - very close to theatres and Covent Garden
Toilet dirty and took ages to flush...
The room really was dirty and the bed sheets am not even sure of they were clean and the whole place was like a hostel would never stay here again. At over a £100.00 for the room I was really not impressed.
The location is excellent, just 5 minutes walk from Covent Garden tube station. Easy for dining and shopping around. Facilities are enough for a solo traveller.
wifi is only available at common room, in-room would be better.
The location is very good & convenient. It takes 5 min to go both Holborn & Covent Garden. The staff lend me the some devices kindly.
The eating utensils are missing. I mind the brightness of room lights.
Great location and cheap, but with big drawbacks.
Did not clean or make up room on second day. Stated they thought we were leaving?? My friends bathroom personal goods went missing, the cleaners were told he had left the room, this being despite his clothes being in the wardrobe. A complete disaster.
The location was excellent
Too basic, I did not know it was student accommodation, this should have been pointed out on the web page. Although the room was clean, it was basic and the curtains had to stay closed all day to avoid the apartments directly opposite seeing into the bedroom. No television, and no comfortable seats. I like apartments because there is more freedom for relaxation, but not in this instance. Would not recommend and would not use this facility again.
nothing.... will not go there ever again....
no internet in my room , i hated that
Hotel was good, very basic. Was very dissapointed that we had a very long travel up to london to find our room was not available until 3.00pm. This meant me and my mother had to hang around london... until the afternoon matinee we attended. There fore we did not enter out room until 7.00pm and were unable to freshen up or anything. I feel 3.00pm is a very late check and literally the room was used just to sleep in as we had to wash in the hotel toilet.
